She wears contrasting jewel colours well. She disappears in those classic autumn hues. She is slightly warm but overall not true warm like Jennifer Lopez. Pastelles definitely not for you! You kind of have similar colouring to Kate Beckinsale who is, loosely put, a 'blue dark autumn'. Don't blend your colouring away with against similar colours. Sandy's rule of thumb.some contrast against your colouring is good. ![]() Same for coral, peach, yellow, camel or cream. If your skin is deeper in pigmentation, the colour will be darker. My bet is, you would suit magenta, true red, royal Green, strong deep purple, black if broken up with accessories as jewellery plus lip colour worn. As an Autumn, your skin may be neutral beige, without much visible yellow, pink, or red. They are hugely popular but the effect competes for our attention and will always triumph over a Soft Autumn face. If we talk about skin tone (and the skin tone is the basis of the color), then, as a rule, in the Autumn color type it is either a light pale shade, a golden hue of champagne, or a golden beige or peach hue tones. Likewise, richer golden caramels, often found in balayage or highlights, will look weighty on a Soft Autumn. Does orange make you look sick? You're not autumn then. People seem to go for more punchy True Autumn reds which tend to be more orangey and are too warm and heavy for this season. ![]() See what the colour does to your skin, don't try to match your eyes or hair. Most of us worldwide (80% in fact) are better in jewel colours which fall into the happy colour palette of summer's deep colours. If youre a soft autumn, you can go as light as an off-white shade of oyster, and for darker colors you could go with a gray or a deep eggplant. I also look very blended when I wear brown for example. However, reality is I look flushed and in ruddy orange, rust, moss green, coral, tomato red.
